Fill that void in your life with a splash of salt water
How do you like to spend your vacation time? If an image of being sprawled out on a blanket as a radiant sun transforms the ocean water into a glistening and shimmering painting, you have certainly learned what it is like to truly feel alive. The natural splendor of being out on a beach and feeling the magic of a perfect day circle around you is what gives many of us a purpose in life. We work hard year round to make those types of moments a reality. However, what if you could take that fantasy one step farther? Not sure what I mean? Close your eyes and consider becoming a day skipper. A day skipper has the qualifications to control a yacht out on the open waters. By taking sailing courses and rya courses it enables one to enjoy a vacation on an entirely different level. Many of these essential sailing courses focus on sail setting, reefing, and tidal passages. Other sailing courses educate specifically on yacht handling, which is perhaps the most important skill of all. In order to become a day skipper, it is best to turn to the prestige of the rya courses. Rya stands for the Royal Yachting Association and they foster some of the world’s highest standards in regards to education in sailing, wind surfing, motor cruising, and powerboat racing. If you have 5 days and 100 miles of sailing experience along with 4 night hours you are ready to begin taking rya courses.
