Saying the Word Thank You Goes a Long Way
My sister is having a full-blown sweet 16th birthday party and my parents are going crazy trying to accommodate her wishes. The one thing I have noticed is not once did my sister say thank you to my parents for everything they are trying to do. I pulled my sister to the side and told her that we needed to have a conversation. We decided to go walk at the mall and while having ice cream I informed her of my observations as her older sister. Once we got home, she went and hugged our mother and told her thank you. It made our mom’s day.
