Attending a seminary or bible college will prepare men and women for active roles in local Bible-believing churches and related area ministries. The seminaries basic objective is to prepare leaders who feature scholarly excellence beyond the average university or college.  Essential to the seminary mission is developing character, heightening competence, and training for service. Foundational to this school of thought is the opinion that God has furnished his authentic written revelation in the Bible, the Word of God. From this point of view the respective studies and fields of work are researched, experienced, and applied.In general, a theological seminary is an institution of higher studying composed of learned teachers, Online Seminary leaders and students devoted to the truth.  Essential to all learned study must be a allegiance first to Jesus Christ as Superior Lord and second to the quest of truth as a corporate and personal calling.A seminary should advance serious learned interrogation in an scholarly environment committed to excellence in scholarship, a biblical worldview, religious understanding, and cultural moral sense.  It needs to create a ministerial balance between the intellectual, practical, and religious commitment to Christ, His Word and His service.
