Cancelling Shop Insurance
My dad recently passed away and my brother and I have been working to close down his business. We thought we had everything taken care of, but today my mom got a shop insurance bill. I’m going to pick it up on my way home from work tonight and call the company tomorrow. I’m hoping they will not make us pay the premium as the shop has been closed for two months. I’m not sure how shop insurance works because I have never had it, but I believe he pays at the end of each quarter. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow. If the policy can’t be canceled, I’ll pay the premium so mom doesn’t have to worry about it.
