Small kitchen designs: What are its limitations?
Small kitchens can be as efficient as big ones if they are well planned. But the scope of small kitchen design lay out is limited. However, this very limitation compels you to be innovative and utilize every inch of space available. The limitation of space imposes limitations on the number of layouts you could have. For small and even tiny kitchens, the galley lay out has been found to be one of the best. The work triangle is compressed into a small area. The counter space is freed by having more cabinet space. More cabinet space is achieved by having taller cabinets with greater depth. Cabinets are installed above as well below the counter. The counter is thus left free for cooking.
