Mold Is A Health Hazard
23 February 2010
Mold is definitely a health hazard if one is exposed to it long enough. It can affect the lungs and cause serious and even life-threatening disease, so it should be of concern if it is found growing in the home. Mold grows anywhere it is damp and there is not adequate ventilation. Bathrooms are notorious places to grow mold. Making sure that the bathroom has adequate ventilation can help in mold remediation, but often that is not enough. Unless there is a serious mold problem, where the only solution is completely removing the material on which it is growing, a good cleaner cleaner made especially to target harmful mold spores will do.
