Soda Ash In Pretzels
In my hometown we have a German Baptist family that owns a small market shop that sells primarily baked good and crops that they grow. They also sell many different kinds of flowers. The best thing that they make is by far their famous homemade pretzels. They only make them once a week on Thursdays and they are gone by the end of the day Thursday because they are that popular. I found out that the secret to making great homemade pretzels is using Soda Ash to make the dough rise. Either way the pretzels are great and everyone loves a good homemade pretzel.
