Don’t Fight Over Finances
Sadly, my first marriage ended because of financial problems. We had gotten into some credit card debt, and couldn’t seem to get a handle on it. We fought and blamed one another until we just decided it was best to go our separate ways. We remain friends to this day, but we both decided to do things different. My current marriage is different because we don’t fight over finances. We are open and discuss every decision, and we each have our separate roles. We have a budget and don’t ever purchase anything over $100 without consulting the other. Simple steps like this can keep your finances on track and will help your marriage too.
