Using real life movements in your exercise program can and will have a great impact on your success in keeping your body guessing, adapting, and growing. What I mean by a real life movement is something that you use in everyday life. If i train very hard on a certain muscle group one day and I wont get sore, but if I go to work and work that same muscle group, more often then not I will be sore the next day. You can do a dumbell exercise, and it will be great, but you can also swing an axe, or haulblocks and it will do you just as good.
